 Second year

In this year, students will be eligible to know more about basics in math and physics, in addition to that , they will start to establish new rules about signals and waves. Those the most repeated concepts in telecommunication engineering and as time goes on, signals and waves should be more logical for students. In this article we will divide subjects into primary and secondary materials just to direct the attention till we cover all subjects of telecommunication engineering major.

primary subjects

All materials could have ideas or introductions to waves or signals in general, we will list them as primary subjects. otherwise, they should be secondary objects.

Electromagnetic fields

How are electromagnetic fields getting generated? and how are they traveling? which direction they prefer? . All these questions are explained in electromagnetic fields topic

Second year


Signals and systems

We generated signals from the previous subject and we will use specific system to understand all phases could signals pass while they are travelling from source to destination.

programming language 

It is a little bit far from signals and waves area, but we can not understand how signals behave without using special software. these software were built with special programming language: C/C++/Java...etc. In this subject will cover C++  to establish an idea about programming language in general.

Algorithm and data structure

We are still in the same side of focus, programming language with diving in more details about the flow of instructions those computer usually follow to run a piece of code, It is called algorithm in different words how computer think till achieve the programmer goal

Second year

Secondary subjects 

We have a mix of different subjects here like, math, electrical items, electronic elements and so on.

Electrical circuit theory 

With simple circuit using lamp and switch we begin this subject and how the current flow from positive to negative or inverse till reach the load. The power consumption with that load and ohm's law.

 Semi-conductors 

How chips were made? how many components were used till getting the final product, is there any chemical explosion while making phone's chips. Semi- conductors technology has establish our new world and made electronics devices smaller and smaller.

Electronic circuits

Diode, resistor, transistor, capacitor...etc, these elements are our main focus in this subject and when we link them together, they make a circuit that has a special function.

Logic system and digital circuits 

It is a mix between electronic circuit and logical concepts or in other words: how we can represent logical concept by using electronic elements. Lamp is on represents "1", when it off represents "0"

Machinery and electric driving 

Taking a look inside machines, how engines work and the main parts combine together to make the final product. Torque, force , direction, speed, stator, rotor....etc. All these concept are repeated gradually.
